It is believed that PRAYER is always the key but I disagree to an extent with this assertion. The scripture says in the book of 1 Corinthians 13:13
“But now faith, hope, and love remain these three. The greatest of these is love.”
It is love that can make us go far in life. When you LOVE and have compassion for humanity, you can’t kill, commit adultery, fornicate, backbite, kidnap, hate, turn people’s results or stop colleagues from being promoted.
In the absence of LOVE all these are bound to happen, when you do all this evil and you go on your knees, do you think God will still answer your prayers? Though you have fasted and prayed but did you show LOVE to one another?
How then will God answer your prayers? Fasting is not the key, LOVE is the key, when you do not LOVE and you are fasting where will your fasting take you to? Even the bible summarised the scripture in two ways, LOVE of God and LOVE of man.
So, not LOVING and praying or fasting is a waste of time because you missed the rules which is the key to all problems. You must LOVE without boundaries, Jesus LOVE us and died for our sins. If he had not loved us he wouldn’t have died for our sins.
Who will you die for because of Christ? Will you die in the flesh because you LOVE Christ? How about forgiveness? Because it’s through LOVE that forgiveness can take place, oh I LOVE him/her, I can’t keep him/her in mind because of LOVE.
How much do you LOVE God and humanity? I pray for you even as I pray for myself that God will open our eyes to see, hearts to conceive and ears to hear His words.
