National Anthem: Bring back old Naira-dollar exchange rate, fuel pump price too – Igosave tells Nigerian govt

Following the reinstatement of Nigeria’s old National Anthem, “Nigeria we hail thee,” comedian, Otaghware Otas Onodjayeke, aka Igosave, has urged the President Bola Tinubu’s administration to also return the country to the standard of economy it inherited.

According to reports, President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday signed the National Anthem Bill 2024 into law to reinstate the old anthem, “Nigeria, We Hail Thee.”

Reacting, Igosave said the Federal Government should also turn around the economy and security standards since the old national anthem has been reintroduced.

On his Instagram story, he wrote: “Since una don bring back old national anthem; can you people bring back our old dollar price, old fuel price, old flight prompt operating style, old taxation, old security standards et al.”

Other celebrities such Kate Henshaw and singer Joeboy has also berated the Federal Government for prioritising changing the National Anthem over tackling the numerous challenges facing the country.
