CAF celebrates Senegal coach, Cisse over historic feat

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has celebrated theTerangha Lions of Senegal head coach, Aliou Cisse following his team’s victory against hosts Qatar on Friday.

The African champions defeated Qatar 3-1, to record their first win in the competition.

Cisse, in the process, made history as the first-ever African manager to win two FIFA World Cup games.

CAF took to social media to eulogize the former Senegal captain.

The win boosted the West Africans chances of qualifying for the Round of 16.

Senegal now needs to win their last group game against Ecuador to guarantee a place in the second round.
