He can’t even play more than 45 minutes anymore – Burley slams Hazard for poor World Cup campaign

Former Scotland player Craig Burley has slammed Eden Hazard, saying that the Real Madrid forward is now nothing more than a “passenger.”

He said that the former Chelsea star is making no impact for Belgium at the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Hazard has failed to score or provide assist in two World Cup matches for Belgium, looking well below his best.

Burley feels the 31-year-old forward is not even capable of playing for an hour anymore.

“The guy can barely play more than 45 to 60 minutes. And even when he does play, he is a passenger,” he told ESPN.

Hazard has managed just one shot on target so far in Qatar and led the Europeans to a 2-0 defeat in their second group game.
