Qatar 2022 World Cup: Five countries eliminated from tournament

Five countries have already been eliminated from the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

They are: Qatar, Canada, Ecuador, Iran and Wales.

Ecuador, Iran and Wales were the latest countries sent packing from the 2022 World Cup after losing their final group matches on Tuesday.

Ecuador lost 2-1 against Senegal in their final Group A tie on Tuesday evening.

Iran lost 1-0 against the USA in a Group B clash, while Wales were defeated 3-0 against England.

More countries will be sent packing from the tournament after the conclusion of Groups C and D fixtures later today.
