New Chelsea signing, Joao Felix, has hailed teammate Reece James as an ‘amazing guy’.
Felix revealed he met with James in a restaurant when he was in London.
The 23-year-old spoke during his first interview with Chelsea’s official website on Wednesday after joining the west London club on loan.
The Portugal international joined Chelsea from Atletico Madrid on a six-month loan deal for the remainder of the season.
“So I don’t know a lot about London, but I know it is a big city, it is a wonderful city. But now I am focused on helping the team,” Felix said.
“I met Reece James one time when I was in London in a restaurant. Amazing guy.”
Felix joined Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2019 from Benfica.
