Ten Hag hints at new position for Rashford after 2-2 draw with Leeds

Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has hinted at a new position for Marcus Rashford ahead of their trip to Elland Road to face Leeds on Sunday.

Rashford continued his hot streak in front of goal, scoring in the 2-2 draw against the Whites on Wednesday night.

The England international started the game on the right wing, with Alejandro Garancho on the left and loan signing Wout Weghorst through the middle.

Weghorst was eventually taken off for Jadon Sancho, allowing Rashford move into the centre, from where he headed in his goal.

Ten Hag was asked about playing the 25-year-old as the main striker.

He replied: “Rashford in the middle in the next game?

“We will analyze this game first, then see how the team is doing and choose the XI.”
