Ooni, Brazil Partner On Africa Fashion Week

The Ooni Of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and the Brazilian Government through its embassy in Nigeria are collaborating for the Africa Fashion Week Initiative.

The event is aimed at boosting the economic and cultural ties between the African continent and the South American country.

The African Fashion Week Brazil was announced at the Brazilian Embassy in Lagos during a press conference addressed by the Consulate General of Brazil in Lagos, H.E. Ministro André Veras Guimarães, and the Ooni’s wife, Queen Ronke Ademiluyi Ogunwusi, who doubles as the founder of the African Fashion Week London and Nigeria.

The Brazilian edition of Africa Fashion Week is scheduled to hold between May 25 and 27, 2023 at the Expo Centre in São Paulo, the most populous city in the South American country.
