Tribunal sacks another NNPP Rep over certificate forgery in Kano

The National and State House of Assembly Election petition tribunal has on Monday sacked the member representing Kumbotso Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Idris Dankawu of New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP,  over certificate forgery.

The three-man panel, led by Justice I. P. Chima declared the All Progressive Congress, APC candidate, Munnir Babba Danagundi as the duly elected and winner of the February 25th election.

Mrs Chima ruled that the West African Examinations Council, WAEC certificate tendered by Mr Dankawu was forged.

The tribunal however ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to issue the APC candidate with certificate of return.
