Heartland Queens won’t relinquish NWFL top spot – Lucky

Heartland Queens forward, Mary Lucky has vowed that her team will finish in top position in Group A of the Nigeria Women’s Football League.

The Owerri Angels usurped Nasarawa Amazons at the top of the NWFL Group A table after a 1-0 win over their rival.

Lucky also expressed confidence that Heartland Queens will challenge for the title.

“And I can tell you for free that we have come to stay on top of the log till we see off the season,” she told the club’s media.

“Of course, that’s a huge yes on Super Six ticket, Super Six is sure for us. I can shout it to the rooftop, yes ooo, Super Six spot is 100% certain.”

Heartland Queens will face Abia Angels in their next league game.
