Yira Sor undergoes successful surgery in Belgium

Nigerian winger, Yira Sor will miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery for a groin injury.

The KAA Genk star is expected to be sidelined till June.

The former Flying Eagles winger will now miss the Championship playoffs in Belgium due to the injury.

Genk announced that Sor sustained the injury in a league match against Standard Liege.

The speedy winger will begin his rehabilitation immediately and should be ready for action by the start of next season.

Sor scored six goals in 20 league appearances for the Smurfs this season.
