SuperComputer predicts title winners as Arsenal, Man City win

Opta has made Manchester City overwhelming favourites to retain the Premier League title.

This follows their 2-0 win at Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

The victory came hours after Arsenal edged a 3-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the North London Derby.

Liverpool were held to a 2-2 draw by West Ham on Saturday.

Following the completion of those matches, Opta’s title predictor now has 70% in favour of City winning the Premier League.

Arsenal have a 30% chance of winning it and Liverpool a 0% chance.

The next round of games will see Liverpool host Tottenham, while Arsenal welcome Bournemouth to the Emirates.

City take on Wolves at the Etihad in Saturday’s late kick-off.
