Former student union leader aims to set 214 hour reading record

Ajao Samson, a former Students Union President of the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, is attempting to set a new Guinness World Record.

According to Ajao, he intends to set the record on the longest reading time with a 214 hour marathon.

Ajao had, earlier on his Facebook page, announced his plan to undertake the 214 hours read-a-thon.

The read-a-thon kicked off at Adolak Conference Hall, Osogbo, on Monday, May 6, and is expected to run through to Tuesday, May 14, 2024.

The 214 hour read-a-thon, as announced on his Facebook page, started at exactly 11:00 am on Monday.

As of press time, he has already surpassed four hours and going to the fifth.
