Don Jazzy appreciates Wizkid for endorsing signee, Ayra Starr’s new album

Music Executive, Don Jazzy and Afrobeats megastar Wizkid have resolved any impression of a rift between them following their recent social media fallout.

This is as Don Jazzy publicly appreciated Wizkid after he endorsed his signee, Ayra Starr’s sophomore album, ‘The Year I Turned 21.’

Wizkid had taken to his X handle to endorse the album which dropped Friday.

Sharing the album cover and streaming link, Wizkid wrote: “Superstar [love and eagle emojis].”

Don Jazzy reposted Wizkid’s tweet with the caption; “Thanks Big Wiz [eagle emoji].”

Recall that the Wizkid shaded Don Jazzy after his signee Ladipoe seemingly ridiculed him in an X post for claiming that ‘hip hop is dead’.

After a fan alerted Wizkid to the post, he reacted by saying, “Lol, never chatting with anyone signed to an influencer. Next.”

He also retweeted two tweets suggesting that he referred to Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy as an influencer.

Wizkid’s subtle shade at Don Jazzy sparked outrage on social media, with several celebrities including skit makers, Mr Macaroni and Nasboi and reality stars, Doyin and Tacha berating him for “disrespecting” the Mavin boss.

Don Jazzy reacted by unfollowing Wizkid on Instagram.
