Nduka reacts to Remo Stars’ win over Kano Pillars

Remo Stars captain Junior Nduka says the victory against Rivers United will boost the team’s chances of winning the Nigeria Premier Football League title.

Daniel Ogunmodede’s side won the keenly contested game 2-1.

Nduka scored the winning goal late in the game.

Nduka also commended the visitors for their performance.

“We needed the points which was very important for us to win the game,” he told the club’s media.

“It was a big win for us as well, Kano Pillars are a very good side with the way they played. I knew we were going to come back and definitely we’re going to win the game.”

Remo Stars is currently in third position on the table.
