Samson Siasia

Former Super Eagles head coach, Samson Siasia is expected to take a role with a local league club in the coming days, according to reports.

Siasia will be free to return to coaching at the end of this month, when the ban imposed on him by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) expires.

Recall that the former striker was initially handed a life ban by FIFA over match-fixing allegations.

His punishment was later reduced to a five-year ban by the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).

It was learnt that a number of clubs in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and second tier, Nigeria National League (NNL), have already established contact with the former Nantes of France player.

Siasia is expected to decide on his next move at the end of the month.
