Chelsea on Friday announced that forward Diego Moreira has completed a permanent transfer to RC Strasbourg.
Enzo Maresca’s side disclosed this in a statement on their website ahead of their Premier League opener with Manchester City this weekend.
“Everyone at Chelsea would like to thank Diego for his contributions throughout his time with the club and wish him well as he begins the next chapter of his career,” Chelsea’s statement read.
Moreira spent the first half of last season on loan at Lyon.
The Portugal Under-21 international joined Chelsea in July 2023 from Benfica.
He made his first-team debut in the Carabao Cup against AFC Wimbledon at the start of the 2023/24 season.
