I’ll not change it for anything – Suarez names most beautiful moment of his career

Inter Miami striker, Luis Suarez, has pointed out the 2011 Copa America as his most beautiful moment with the Uruguay national team.

The former Barcelona and Liverpool attacker said this at a news conference on Monday as he announced his response from international football.

Recall that Suarez opened the scoring in the 2011 Copa America final as Uruguay defeated Paraguay 3-0 to win their 15th Copa America title.

“That Copa America trophy in 2011 was the most beautiful moment I experienced in my career as a professional player.

“I would not change it for anything and look, I won a lot of other things,” Suarez said.

Suarez departs as Uruguay’s all-time leading scorer with 69 goals in 142 games across 17 years.

The 37-year-old made his senior debut for Uruguay in February, 2007, in a 3-1 victory against Colombia.
