Davido Wins Best International Act At 2026 Liberian Entertainment Awards

Davido clinched Best International Act at the 2026 LEA, beating Tyla, Gunna, Rema and Fridayy.

Nigerian music star Davido has won the Best International Act category at the 2026 Liberian Entertainment Awards (LEA), adding another international recognition to his career.

The award was announced in April 2026 following the ceremony held on April 25 at the Lisner Auditorium in Washington, DC. Davido emerged winner ahead of other nominees including Tyla, Gunna, Rema, and Fridayy.

The Liberian Entertainment Awards is an annual event established in 2009 to recognise the contributions of Liberian entertainers both within the country and across the diaspora. Over the years, the ceremony has expanded to include categories spanning music, film, fashion, and community service.

Held in the United States, the awards ceremony also features performances from a mix of established and emerging acts, reflecting its aim of promoting Liberian talent on a global stage.

Davido’s latest win further highlights the growing global influence of Afrobeats and the continued presence of Nigerian artists on international award platforms.
