Temi Nkem has won Big Brother Naija Season 11 with 25.87% of the votes, ahead of Aikou and Sheba at the grand finale.
Temi Nkem, whose real name is Temitope Nkemdilim Chigbue, has emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 11 at the grand finale on Sunday, after 70 days in the house.
Temi secured 25.87% of the final votes, while Aikou finished with 23.68% and Sheba received 9.80%.
The 21-year-old finance student and lifestyle creator had earlier secured her place in the Top 3 alongside Aikou and Sheba after a series of evictions narrowed the final field.
The finale began with nine housemates in contention, with Barry becoming the first finalist to leave the competition. Oyin and Ricky were subsequently evicted, followed by Flora and Tram, before Bluethopia’s exit left Temi Nkem, Aikou and Sheba as the final three.
The live show featured performances from Nigerian singers Teni and Oshamo as the season reached its conclusion.
Temi Nkem entered the competition with the declaration, “I bring luxury, I bring spice,” and quickly established herself as one of the season’s outspoken personalities.
Born and raised in London, she has Nigerian roots, with her father from Ibusa, Delta State, and her mother from Ebute Metta, Lagos. She is studying Accounting and Finance alongside a treasury qualification.
During her time in the house, Temi Nkem said she had deliberately approached the competition with a strategy, while admitting that parts of the persona she presented to viewers were an act.
In a diary session with Big Brother, she said: “Because as much as I’m telling you that Biggie I was here for fun, these people don’t know that I was the one who had the best strategy. Biggie, me walking in through these doors and all of this persona, this act or whatever I was doing, Biggie, is it really me? We will never know, but me, I know myself.
“I would say some was real, some was fake so I really love to be underestimated in this house.”
She became known for her bold, unfiltered personality, entertaining diary sessions, signature “Chakam” expression, confidence and strategic approach to the game. Her fanbase, known as the Teminators, also rallied behind her through the competition.
Temi’s victory caps her run as one of the season’s most distinctive housemates, combining her outspoken personality, humour and strategic gameplay to emerge as the Season 11 winner.
