President Bola Tinubu celebrates Adamawa Governor Ahmadu Fintiri at 59, praising his infrastructure projects, peace initiatives and youth empowerment schemes.
President Bola Tinubu has felicitated Governor of Adamawa State, Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, on his 59th birthday.
Fintiri had held several leadership positions in the House of Assembly, including the speakership, before being elected governor of Adamawa in 2019. He won re-election in 2023.
The President, in a release issued on Tuesday by his Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, joined family and friends to celebrate the astute administrator and politician under whose stewardship Adamawa has witnessed significant transformation.
Tinubu commended the governor for his people-centred leadership, infrastructure drive, and promotion of dialogue and peaceful coexistence among the people of Adamawa.
He also lauded Governor Fintiri’s empowerment scheme for small-scale entrepreneurs, along with other schemes in agriculture and youth development.
“I congratulate Fintiri on this special occasion. I admire his peace-building initiatives and efforts to give everyone in the state a voice. He has proven himself to be a formidable force in Adamawa politics and beyond, and I wish him even more accomplishments and many more years in good health,” the President said.
