The Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum and Governor of Kebbi State, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has dismissed claims that some All Progressives Congress, APC, governors are negotiating with the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
Bagudu said the APC governors are not working with the PDP against the ambition of the ruling party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
He disclosed this during APC presidential campaign rally in Kano yesterday.
Bagudu assured that APC governors are behind Tinubu’s presidential ambition.
According to Bagudu: “All our governors are in support of Tinubu’s candidacy.
“The claims by some people that some APC governors are negotiating with the opposition are false. All our governors are in support of Tinubu’s candidacy.”
His denial came when Governor Nyesom Wike alleged that some APC governors are working with Atiku.
