Why Akpabio fits the Senate Presidency job – Mike Uyi

President General, Global Peace Movement International,UK Dr. Mike Uyi has urged the Senators-elect for the 10th Senator to vote for Senator Godwill Akpabio as the next Senate President because of his achievements, experience and his believe for one Nigeria.

At a press conference on Sunday in Benin City, the Edo state capital with diasporans who came from different countries of the world to vote during the Presidential, National Assembly and the just concluded governorship and States House of Assembly, Uyi noted that all the aspirants for the office are very experienced and qualified, but Akpabio was more deserving for the purpose of national unity and fairness.

According to Uyi, Akpabio’s unique qualities and exceptional leadership skills have earned him the praise of all Nigerians who see him as the best candidate to lead the Senate at this time.

““It is worth mentioning that Senator Akpabio, who is a former Governor of Akwa Ibom, a former Senate Minority Leader, and a former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, is seen as a very experienced and qualified candidate for the job”.

“Those who know Akpabio are aware that the former minority leader of the senate always think about the development of the country first before anything and that we can see in all the offices he had occupied in the past “.

Uyi further said Akpabio is a man with a large heart, and has a flare for excellence.

“For being who he is, we have no doubt or fear in becoming the 10yh assembly Senate President knowing fully that he will lead the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria right”.

“Akpabio’s leadership style has proved that there are still Nigerians who are good and can be trusted with responsibility of moving this country to it’s rightful place .

“In the history of Nigeria politics, Akpabio is the only politician with the initials as Governor, Senator, Minister (GSM) and this is only possible because of his outstanding records of transparent and people oriented leadership, Uyi concluded.”
