ACCI Commemorates Workers Day

The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) joins the rest of the world to celebrate the 2023 Workers Day.

The Chamber applauds all workers in Nigeria for their effort, hard work and dedication towards national economic growth and development of the country.

The International Labour Day also know as Workers Day Nigeria is celebrated in Nigeria on May 1st with a public holiday to mark the day.

The celebration is associated with the struggles and gains made by workers and the achievements of the labour movement.

As Nigeria celebrates the 2023 Workers Day, the President ACCI, Dr Al-Mujtaba Abubakar in a statement to mark the day, seeks the support and cooperation of the Nigeria Government to continually create a friendly working environment for the Nigerian worker and providing the necessary materials and resources needed for an efficient and effective work force.

He stated that when the working environment is favourable to workers, they would be able to contribute their quota to the economic growth of the country.
