Former Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate, Maria Benjamin, has reacted to allegations that she dated a married man, stating that she didn’t destroy any marriage.
Maria revealed this in a chat with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, published on Friday.
In October 2021, popular celebrity barman, Pascal Okechukwu aka Cubana Chief Priest, accused Maria of having an affair with the husband of his ‘sister’.
Maria, in her latest interview, stated that she was not aware that he was married before they started dating.
She said, “I actually wasn’t aware whether or not he was married before we started dating. I’m going to stand by it, and that’s the gospel truth. I didn’t destroy any marriage. I have never and would never.”
