Police have arrested a stalker, identified as Kevin Valdovinos, 29, who was caught lurking around outside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s California mansion in the dead of the night.
Valdovinos from Lake Elsinore spotted by the royal couple’s security team around 2 am on Monday has been charged with stalking, the Mirror reported on Wednesday.
According to Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office, the suspect was later released on $2,500 bail after he was detained and taken into custody.
It is unknown whether the couple and children were at home when the stalker was apprehended.
This marks the second time the family has been targeted by intruders since the prince’s taxpayer-funded protection was removed after the prince stepped back as a senior royal and relocated to the United States in early 2020.
A 37-year-old man from Ohio was warned after he was also caught trespassing on the couple’s property on Christmas Eve in 2020.
