The long-awaited biggest African movie award show, the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards ninth edition, is finally here.
It is set to hold tonight, Saturday, May 20, at the Federal Palace Hotel and Casino in Lagos State.
The event which already began on Thursday with the opening night and cultural day has ushered nominated actors and actresses to be appreciated for their talents and effort in African TV shows and movies.
Here are five things to look out for at the 2023 AMVCA event:
- It will be hosted by Nigerian on-air-personality, IK Osakioduwa, and South African model, Zozibini Tunzi.
- Celebrities will bedazzle fans with their exquisite fashion styles on the red carpet.
- Best-dressed female and male will be duly recognised and awarded as well.
- Emotional speeches of the presenters and awardees.
- The drama, glitz, and fun that comes with the after-party.
