Plateau: Don’t reward stakeholders who worked against APC with political appointments, group tells Tinubu

Group operating under the aegis of Plateau APC Renaissance Movement ( PAPCRM) has lamented that several stakeholders in the state who participated in large scale anti party actives during the 2023 general elections are now been seen in the presidency seeking for political appointment .

The group led by its Chairman Hon George Yilji , in a statement made available to newsmen in Jos called on President Bola Tinubu to ignore those who worked against the party ( APC) in the last general elections .

The statement reads that We as a group have it on good authority that several stakeholders who worked against the party ,like Ex Governor Joshua Dariye ,the former minister of women affairs Dame Pauline Tallen , , Hon

Komsol Alphonsus Longgap, Hon Danyaro Sarpiya and others are now lobbying for political appointments and recently visited the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation to congratulate him over his appointment.

Also not left out is the Incumbent Senator representing Plateau Central in the National Assembly, Senator Hezekiah Dimka who worked against the APC in his local government council all because he lost out in the APC Governorship Primaries .

According to the group ” Senator Dimka who is from the same local government council with the Plateau Governorship Candidate of the APC in the state Dr Nentawe Yilwatda mobilised resources and worked against his party in both the Presidential and Governorship election.

They added that ” As we speak the People of his local government council especially APC members are not happy with him over his large scale anti party activities in both the Presidential and Governorship election ,thereby losing touch with the people of his LGA and Senatorial district at large .

Most of these stakeholders are the ones who betrayed the APC in Plateau ,The former minister of women affairs Dame Pauline Tallen and Incumbent Senator representing Plateau South Dame Nora Ladi Daduut all worked against the APC in the Presidential election because they said their faith as a members of the Papal knight would not allow them vote or work for the victory of a Muslim / Muslim ticket .

We have it on good authority that Dame Pauline Tallen who was then Minister for women affairs mobilised resources and worked against the APC in the Presidential election as she worked for the Presidential Candidate of the Labour party Peter Obi ,as she was seen sharing rice and other campaign materials calling on her supporters to work for the Labour party .

Also we have it on record that she worked for the People’s Democratic Party ,during the Governorship election in the state ,the poor performance of the APC in Plateau state was as a result of this anti party activities from critical stakeholders of APC in Plateau state .

For Dame Nora Daduut it could be recalled that her convoy came under attack in Namu Community in Quanpan local government council recently because of her anti party activities ,as she was booed for working against her party by APC members .

As a group ,we are aware of the anti party activities of Former Minister of State for Information , Alhaji Ibrahim Dasuki Nakande who worked for the People’s Democratic Party both at the Presidential and Governorship election in Plateau to the extent that he wrote a letter of support to the Plateau state chapter of the PDP as reported by some national dailies.

We want to call the attention of our President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the anti party activities of Dr Danyaro Sarpiya, an aspirant in the APC primaries in Plateau who dragged the APC to court and frustrated the party in the build up to the election inorder to have his kinsman who is the Candidate of the PDP to emerge victorious at the polls .

According to the group, ” Hon Sarpiya frustrated all efforts carried out by the state APC to broker peace in the party ,before the Presidential and Governorship polls.

To us as APC Youths we call on President Bola Tinubu not to have anything to do with them as they worked against the APC in Plateau state .

Acts of anti party should not be rewarded with Political appointment.

Most of this stakeholders who now rush to Aso rock from Plateau state seeking for Political relevance where neck deep in anti party activities as the fought the then Plateau state Governor Simon Lalong and ensured the APC performed poorly in the 2023 polls .

As a group we have it on record that the former Governor of Plateau state ,Chief Joshua Dariye worked against the APC both at the Presidential and Governorship election in Plateau state and is now shamefully congratulating the President and some newly appointed officials in the APC government .

The videos of the former Governor Joshua Dariye congratulating the then Governor elect now Governor of Plateau state Bar Caleb Mutfwang is almost on every social media space in Plateau.

“ Rather than be considered for appointments , We call on the party APC at the national to impose maximum sanction on the recalcitrant Ex Governor of Plateau state Joshua Dariye , Senator, Hezikah Dimka , Pauline Tallen ,Hon Komsol and others who worked against the APC in our state .

” Party politics has rules and regulations. Senator Dimka ,the former Minister of women affairs Dame Pauline Tallen and their cohorts had destabilized the APC for a while on the state leading to the party’s loss at the Governorship and the Presidential election in 2023 ,they worked against our party at the recently conducted Presidential election and did so in the Governorship polls .”

The national leadership of the APC, led by Senator Adamu Abdullahi must as a matter of urgency expel this stakeholders who do not mean well for the party in the state
