MC Tagwaye, Fashola, Others make list of Tinubu’s SAs

No fewer than 14 persons are expected to make the list of 20 new appointees of President Bola Tinubu, as Special Advisers (SAs).

Though there is no official announcement of the appointments, an exclusive list obtained by our correspondent however, has popular artiste, Obinna Simon, aka MC Tagwaye, known for mimicking the immediate past president, Muhammadu Buhari, as the SA Arts and Entertainment.

A former presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba II, has also been listed as S.A Digital Media and ICT, as well as immediate past Minister Babatunde Fashola as SA, Works and Housing.

Tinubu had on Tuesday requested for senate approval of 20 new SAs, which the Red Chamber had also taken immediate action on.

The President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, had said it was of utmost urgency that the President had his team to work with.

Sources disclosed that the names had been computed, and were only waiting for the president’s approval.

Those expected to make the list also include; Hon. Dayo Adedeye, Water resources, Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, Media, Hajiya Zainab Abubakar Ibrahim, as S.A women’s affairs.

Others include; Alabi Opeyemi Oladimeji, S.A innovation, Hon. Hamman Dikko, Education, Mr. Tosin Adedyanju, SDGs, Kabiru Abdulhamid S.A Youths, and
Umar ibrahim as S.A Mineral Resources.

Hajiya Shafa Adam, Hon. Mike Masuaan and Hajiya Fatimah Abdullahi, also made the list as S.As on Investment, Agriculture, and Health respectively.

In spite of social media attacks, Tagwaye, who was a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, had campaigned vigorously for Tinubu/ Shettima presidency nationwide.

Tinubu’s appointments no doubt show signs of an all inclusive government with gender sensitivity and considerate selection from all sections and sectors of the country,
