Five Reasons Pastor Jerry Eze Is Now Nigeria’s Most Popular Pastor

The convener of the New Season Prophetic Prayers, and lead pastor of Streams of Joy International in Nigeria, Pastor Jerry Eze, has continued to break barriers with the gospel of Christ, bringing him to the forefront.

Pastor Eze, whose prominence in the gospel ministry has continued to rise, recently hosted one of the largest gospel meetings in recent times in the United Kingdom, with no less than 70,000 worshippers at the prayer conference.

Here are the five reasons why Pastor Eze is now listed among the most popular pastors in Nigeria.

  1. The clergyman’s digital daily prayer sessions NSPPD, which began as a result of the COVID-19 lockdown, when people were confined to their homes, quickly gained popularity.
  2. Pastor Jerry Eze’s video went viral on social media after Davido reshared a viral video in which the pastor used one of his hit songs, ‘Unavailable,’ for his Sunday sermon in which he warned people about Christ’s coming and why the brethren of Christ must make themselves available rather than being unavailable.
  3. Pastor Eze has captivated the attention of millions with his daily prayers and has become one of the most followed pastors on YouTube. As of Monday, his YouTube channel has 1.45 million subscribers and over 1.4 thousand videos. He holds the daily prayer on Instagram Live, YouTube, and Mixlar.
  4. According to the latest data from Playboard.co, the NSPPD platform led by Pastor Eze, emerged as the number one ‘Daily Most Super Chatted Gospel Channel’ in Nigeria.
  5. Pastor Eze’s NSPPD online prayer platform went viral on social media after a lady dropped a particular prayer request in the live comment that she wants her sugar daddy to divorce his marriage and be with her. She wrote, “I am here to pray so my sugar daddy leaves his wife and be with me full time, Amennnnnnnnnnn.”
