President Bola Tinubu is meeting with the former Senate President and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator Pius Anyim and former National Publicity Secretary of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP, Olisa Metuh at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Anyim and Metuh arrived together at about 1:30pm and went straight to the President’s office.
It could be recall that Metuh recently announced his retirement from active politics as well as his resignation from the PDP.
Anyim served as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) under President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
Anyim despite being in the opposition party, campaigned for APC in the governorship and presidential election in his home State Ebonyi.
The meeting coincides the period President Tinubu is about to submit list of ministerial nominees to the senate for screening.
