Alia is unfair to Sam Ode

By Aare Abiodun De Oracle

Benue state governor, Rev. Hyacinth Alia failed the day he assigned his Chief of Staff, Hon. Paul Biam to oversee the affairs of local governments in the state because ordinarily, the deputy governor of any state is always the one in charge of that area of government.

Father Hyacinth Alia deliberately sidelined his deputy, Barrister Sam Ode PhD last week and made Hon. Paul Biam to preside over a meeting with the DLGA and other heads of the twenty three local government areas in Benue state even when the Secretary to the state government was physically present. Note that Sam Ode wasn’t even invited to the meeting which had to do with his office as the deputy governor.

To Governor Alia, that step wasn’t bad because he considers it as part of his plans to cut the influence of his greatest benefactor, the SGF on his administration.

To me, Alia is unfair to Dr. Sam Ode on that if we have to consider that he, Ode is very experienced in local government administration being the special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs during Dr. Suswam’s administration.

I am Aare Abiodun, De Oracular Oracle that eats chicken in the shrine.
