“He must go,” Workers protest after Minister of Works, David Umahi, locked them out for resuming late for work.

Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, has reportedly been locked inside his office by protesting workers who accused him of high-handedness.

The minister was said to have prevented workers who came to work late from gaining access into the Ministry.

The union members comprising the Housing and Works ministry decided to locked the ministry, blocking entry and exit and preventing the minister from leaving the office.

They also claim that he stopped engineers and directors from doing their work and has been breaking public service rules since his appointment by bringing in consultants to run affairs in the ministry.
