Banyana Banyana captain to miss Super Falcons clash

South Africa will be without goalkeper, Andile Dlamini for their 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers against the Super Falcons of Nigeria.

Dlamini has withdrawn from the squad for medical reasons.

Head coach of the side, Desiree Ellis will now count on Kaylin Swart for the two legs.

Swart is a capable replacement for Dlamini going by her impressive display at last year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

Nigeria will host the first leg at Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Friday, April 5.

The reverse fixture will hold four days later in Pretoria.

The overall winners will earn a place at Paris 2024.
