Kogi PDP affirms Dekina, Ofu chairmanship positions

The Kogi State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has affirmed Hon Husseini Ejinni and Hon Isah Alhassan, as the chairmen of Dekina and Ofu Local Government Areas of the state, respectively.

The party, in the affirmation letters separately sent to the chairmen by the Chairman of the Kogi State PDP Caretakers Committee, Sen Danjuma La’ah, said that their affirmation was based on the party’s investigation into the matters that led to the chairmanship positions being contested.

The letter reads, “After conducting a thorough examination of the facts contained in various documents submitted to the committee, we are confident that the affirmation for Dekina and appointment for Ofu is based on equity, fairness, justice and mutually beneficial to all parties involved.”

“We have considered all aspects of the situation, and have taken into account any potential benefits and value added to the indivisible unity and progress of our great party.

“Our investigation has provided us with the information needed to affirm your position, we believe that our findings have taken into consideration all parties involved in this regard.”

The caretaker chairman appealed to members of the party to remain calm, adding that the party will not condone any form of impersonation from members who are parading themselves as officials of the party.
