Nigeria doesn’t belong to you – Ex-CAN leader, Kadzai slams Arewa youths

The National Youth Leader, Congress of Northern Nigeria Christians, Engr. Daniel Kadzai, has challenged the Arewa youths to authenticate their call for the resignation of Senate President Godswill Akpabio with facts.

Kadzai was furious over what he called the excessive utterance of the group, wondering what gave them the impetus to always make demands on national issues.

Recall that a group called the Arewa Conglomerates had yesterday called for the resignation of the Senate President, Akpabio.

Calling the demand irresponsible, Kadzai, who is also a former National President, Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria, (YOWICAN), and Chairman of Interfaith Coalition Conference, described the call as a flimsy excuse that does not hold water.

Speaking on Wednesday in a telephone conversation, he said since the emergence of President Bola Tinubu as the President of Nigeria and his appointment of a Southerner as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and the emergence of a Southerner as the Senate President, the Arewa group had been uncomfortable.

Kadzai said the people to blame for the country’s woes were the previous government which ran the country down with clueless policies

Kadzai called on the Arewa group to stop assuming that they own Nigeria by not supporting anything that is not northern Muslim in nature.
