Super Falcons goalie, Nnadozie vies for another award in France

Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie is up for another individual award in France.

Nnadozie was earlier this week voted the best goalkeeper in the D1 Arkema (French Women’s League).

The shot-stopper was also named in the D1 Arkema Team of the Season.

The 23-year-old has now been nominated for the National Union of Professional Footballers, UNFP, Goalkeeper of the Year award.

Nnadozie has so far enjoyed a stellar campaign for Paris FC, earning global attention for her penalty-saving heroics.

She has saved seven penalties this season, the highest by any goalkeeper in Europe.

Highly-rated Olympic Lyon goalkeepers, Christiane Endler, Katarzyna Kiedrzynek of Paris SG, FC Fleury’s Chloe N’Gazi and Kinga Szemik of Stade de Reims are also in contention for the award.

The award ceremony will be held on Monday, May 13.
