Nine Zaki Mairiga FC players have been suspended by the Nationwide League One (NLO).
The players were suspended for their assault on a match official during a league game against Gombe Warriors.
The NLO also awarded three points and three goals to Gombe Warriors following Zaki Mairiga’s disruption of the game.
Zaki Mairiga were also fined N100,000 as punishment for the unruly behaviour of their players during the game.
The club will also pay an additional N119,150.00
being claims filed by the referees for both treatments and missing Items .
The NLO further said the notice of the players suspension will be forwarded to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
The management of the club was also warned to desist from acts that would bring the game into disrepute.
