2026 WCQ: Bafana Bafana storm Uyo for Super Eagles showdown

Bafana Bafana of South Africa has finally arrived in Uyo for Friday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Nigeria.

The players and their officials arrived at the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo around 11am on Thursday.

The contingent left for their base, Four Point by Sheraton Hotel following their arrival.

The delegation arrived in Nigeria on Wednesday but spent the night in Port Harcourt after failing to connect a flight to Uyo.

Hugo Broos’ side will have their final training session later this evening.

Friday’s encounter is billed for the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
