FRSC appoints new Zonal Commander for Osun, Oyo, Ondo states

The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has appointed Corps Commander Alphonses Godwin as the new acting Zonal Commanding Officer, ZCO, in charge of Osun, Oyo and Ondo states.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Zonal Public Enlightenment Officer, Adegboye Banke, and made available to journalists on Thursday in Osogbo.

The statement reads, “Godwin, until his appointment was enlisted into the corps in 1996 with wealth of experience in the corps operational activities.

“He was also the former Sector Commander in Delta, Jigawa and Plateau States before his last position as the Corps Commander RMA at the FRSC headquarters in Abuja.”

According to the statement, “The new ZCO is a graduate of International Studies at the Ahmadu Bello University, ABU Zaria and a fellow of the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria, FISPON among other professional bodies.

“The new ZCO, CC Alphonses Godwin is happily married with children and had since resumed on July 16.”
