The Chaplain of the Knights of St. Mulumba, Central District Sub-Council Reverend Father Robert Achiagha has challenged Christians to live a life that positively impact others, emphasizing the importance of purpose-driven living.
Fr. Achiagha stated this in his sermon, during the welcome Mass for the newly admitted brothers and sisters in the Order. He also stressed that Christians should strive to make a lasting difference in their communities, citing biblical teachings on service, love, and transformation.
“An impacting life is not just about personal success, but about touching lives and transforming communities,” Rev. Achiagha said.
He encouraged Christians to consistently exhibit goodness in all aspects of life, emphasizing its impact on personal witness and community.
The cleric noted that goodness is a fundamental fruit of faith; not just an occasional act, but a lifestyle.
“As Christians, we must strive to be good neighbors, good citizens, and good stewards of God’s resources.”
He encourage Christians to practice random acts of kindness, show compassion to those in need and stand for justice and righteousness.
Further more, Fr. Achiagha cautioned Christians to guard against jealousy and envy, emphasizing their destructive potential.
According to him, jealousy and envy can damage relationships, undermine faith and hinder spiritual growth.
Achiagha reminds Christians to focus on love, kindness, and gratitude.
The highlight of the program was the blessing of the regalia for the newly admitted brothers.
Family, friends and well wishers gathered after the Mass to felicite with the newly admitted brothers and sisters.
