AA approves update of party’s membership register nationwide

The National Think Tank Committee (NTTC) of the Action Alliance (AA) has approved an update of the party’s membership register nationwide in a move to reposition the party for greater Electoral fortunes ahead of 2027 polls.

The national secretary of the Action Alliance Vernimbe James, disclosed this in a statement he issued saying that the update is head of the party’s Local Government Wards, State Congresses and National Convention.

According to him, “The exercise is pursuant to Electoral Act 2022 as amended and Action Alliance 2005 Constitution as amended.”

James said that the important exercise is scheduled to commence on the 18th, October, 2024 to 31st December, 2024 at the party’s Ward headquarters from 9:00am to 4:00pm daily excluding Saturday and Sunday.

He added that all State Chairmen are directed to ensure that eligible Nigerians of 18 years old and above willing to register with Action Alliance are given the opportunity to do so without delay.

Party members across Nigeria and beyond, he said are also directed to use the opportunity to revalidate their membership as only party members whose Names are on the membership Register of the party can participate in the upcoming party Congresses and National Convention.
