Zamfara State Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Tijjani Illiyasu has warned motorists to avoid over-speeding, overloading, and using drugs during driving.
The Sector Commander gave the warning during a town hall meeting held at UBE Training Centre Gusau, the State capital.
Illiyasu said that the essence of the town hall meeting was to gather the stakeholders, drivers, and tell them the danger of reckless driving,
Tijjani appealed to the drivers to always obey the rules and regulations of driving.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the occasion, Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Lawal Barau Bungudu, commended the participants for their turnout, urging them to adhere to what they learnt during the town hall meeting.
In his speech, Emir of Gusau, HRH, Dr, Ibrahim Bello, who was represented by the senior district head, expressed happiness over the town hall meeting.
