St. Augustine Of Hippo CMO Inaugurates 2025 Fathers’ Day Committee

The Catholic Men Organization (CMO) of St. Augustine of Hippo Parish, Dutse Sagbagyi has inaugurated the 2025 father’s day celebration.

While inaugurating the committee, the CMO president, Chief Augustine Ato said Father’s Day is a special occasion dedicated to celebrating the invaluable contributions and impact of fathers and father figures in our lives. 

According to him, It’s a time to acknowledge their love, guidance, and support, and to express gratitude for their presence in our families and communities. 

Ato said Father’s Day provides a designated day to recognize and appreciate the unique roles fathers play in raising children, shaping their character, and providing for their well-being. 

“It’s a day to acknowledge their sacrifices, hard work, and dedication to their families”.

“Celebrating Father’s Day offers an opportunity to strengthen the bond between fathers and their children. It’s a time for families to come together, spend quality time, and create lasting memories”. 

Ato further charge the committee will lead the planning and execution of events and activities to celebrate fathers and father figures within the parish and the wider community.

While responding and accepting the responsibility, Mr. David Ayide Ogar the 2025 father’s day committee chairman appeal to CMO members to cooperate with this year’s committee to enable them discharge their duties.

“I stand before you today, deeply humbled and incredibly grateful, as the Chairman of 2025 fathers’ day celebration.  We believe that with your cooperation, this years celebration will be a history making event that the church will have a turn around.

“We are excited to embark on this journey to honor and celebrate ourselves” said Ogar.
