Governor Abdullahi Sule has pledged to give his younger brother and the Executive Chairman of the Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB), Dr. Kassim Muhammad, all the support needed for him to succeed.
He made this known on Thursday during a one-day Nasarawa State Basic Education Summit at the Aliyu Akwe Doma Banquet Hall of the Government House, Lafia.
Governor Sule said he is impressed with the way and manner the NSUBEB chairman is using his youthful energy to tackle basic education problems in Nasarawa, and assured him that all his demands would be addressed.
One of the demands Dr. Kassim presented to the Governor was the increment of salaries for teachers to motivate them.
The Summit, with the theme ‘Revitalizing the Future of Basic Education in Nasarawa State’, had in attendance government officials and critical stakeholders in the basic education sector.
