Hon. Irene Osobase Calls for National Unity, Urges Support for the President Tinubu-Led Administration

Hon. Irene Osobase, Director-General of Train a Woman, You Train a Nation, has called on Nigerians to embrace national unity and lend their full support to the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing collective cooperation as essential for sustainable national development.

Speaking, Hon. Osobase emphasized that Nigeria’s progress depends on unity across ethnic, religious, and political lines. She noted that the challenges facing the nation require a shared sense of responsibility and active participation from citizens, institutions, and civil society organizations.

According to her, the President Tinubu-led administration has demonstrated commitment to economic reforms, social inclusion, and long-term development, and therefore deserves the support and patience of Nigerians. She urged citizens to focus on constructive dialogue and nation-building efforts rather than division, stressing that unity remains the strongest tool for national transformation.

Hon. Osobase also praised the First Lady of the Federation, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, CON, for her dedication to national growth and her unwavering advocacy for women empowerment. She commended the First Lady’s initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of women, children, and vulnerable groups across the country, describing her as a role model for purposeful leadership and compassionate service.

As the Director-General of Train a Woman, You Train a Nation, Hon. Osobase reaffirmed her organization’s commitment to empowering women through education, skills acquisition, and capacity-building programs. She highlighted that investing in women remains a critical pathway to strengthening families, communities, and the nation at large.
