Should Atiku Not Disown Statement Within 48hrs, I’ll Spill What Was Said About Wike- Fayose – Makinde

The former governor of Ekiti state, Peter Ayodele Fayose has taken to his official X account on Thursday, February 12, 2026 to give former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar 48 hours to withdraw the statement that he made about him.

This came after Paul Ibe, the Special Adviser on Media to Atiku Abubakar called Ayodele Fayose a serial purveyor of political gossip.

According to Paul Ibe;

“Let it be stated clearly: the entire publication is a shameless concoction, a tissue of lies stitched together by a serial purveyor of political gossip whose relevance survives only on controversy, distortion and cheap propaganda”.

Reacting, Ayo Fayose stated that if Atiku Abubakar doesn’t withdraw the statement within 48 hours, he will reveal more information about the meeting that Atiku held with the governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde in Niger state and what was said about the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.

According to the former governor of Ekiti state;

“Should Atiku not publicly disown the statement within the next 48 hours, I will have no option but to spill more beans of the Minna meeting, particularly what was said about Wike”.
