Babajide Sanwo-Olu joins designer Ugo Monye on the runway at Lagos Fashion Week, celebrating fashion, creativity and culture.
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has walked the runway for Nigerian fashion designer Ugo Monye at LagosFashion Week.
Sanwo-Olu shared pictures of his appearance on social media, saying he stepped away from his usual governance dutiesto support the designer. “I stepped away from the usual business of governance to walk the runway for the incredibly talented Ugo Monye atLagos Fashion Week.”
The governor said Lagos was growing as a centre for fashion, creativity and culture, adding that he was happy to supportefforts driving the growth. “Lagos continues to grow as a home for fashion, creativity and culture and I am always happy to support the purpledriving this growth.”
