You’re entitled – Aguero slams Real Madrid after Vinicius loses award

Former Argentina striker, Sergio Aguero, has labelled Real Madrid as “entitled” over their reaction to seeing Rodri beat Vinicius Jr to the 2024 Ballon d’Or award.

The LaLiga giants cancelled their plans to attend Monday’s ceremony, after they found out Vinicius will not win the prize.

They then issued a furious statement accusing UEFA and France Football of “disrespect”.

Vinicius Jr’s team-mate Eduardo Camavinga has also hit out at “football politics”, while fans have called Rodri’s win the “biggest robbery in football history.”

But Aguero believes the 28-year-old deserves to win it ahead of Vinicius,

He said: “Well deserved. Rodri is the best player in the World. Football is for everyone not just Real Madrid, they so entitled.”
