…As Brigadier General Kenneth Chigbu takes over command
Brigadier General Kenneth Chigbu has today 1 May 2023 taken over the command of 2 Brigade Nigerian Army(NA) Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. He took over the command from Brigadier General Abubakar Wase who is being redeployed to Land Forces Simulation Centre Nigeria (LFSCN) as the Deputy Director General and Director Operations.
The outgoing Commander in his remarks, thanked all the officers of the Brigade for their support and Cooperation he enjoyed during his tour of duty, stating that the successes recorded by the Brigade during his tenure was a collective effort of all the officers. He urged them to give the same support and cooperation to the new Commander.
Also speaking, the new Commander urged the officers to extend the same cooperation they gave his predecessor to him and stated that he would continue from where his predecessor had stopped.
until his appointment as Commander 2 Brigade, Brigadier General Chigbu was the Deputy Director one at the Army Headquarters Department of Military Secretary.
